Woah. It's been a while since I blogged up in this place. Well, how to sum up the remainder of 2010. Let's start with the positive: Ten Reasons... was nominated for FIVE Midtown International Theatre Festival Awards and we one one for Outstanding Music and Lyrics! Hooray! It was really a big kudos to our show and the composer/lyricists.
I was right. I did get sick after I posted last. In fact, I spent the lion's share of the rest of 2010 ill. It came and went, but it was pretty serious stuff and it's being taken care of. However, because of the time I needed to tend to my illness and its treatment, I had to put a lot of other stuff on hold. Hey, life happens, right? Anyway, I'm feeling better and things are looking up so, here we go 2011! I'm talking to you! :)
I am working on re-writes now that I'm finally able to look at the show again, and I anticipate a reading at some point in the first half of 2011. We'll see how it goes. I anticipate a level of progress that is ultimately uncertain right now, but at least since I know how I operate, I'll probably work my butt off on it!
So, stay tuned for upcoming information.
This year's going to be awesome. I can tell.
